Through community-driven events and encouragement, I feel as though I have come to understand myself and others better. I have learned that I am more capable than I think and that it's not so bad to reach out to other people. Most of all, I met my dearest friend because of BASIS. For that, I am eternally grateful.

The BASIS program provided many opportunities for development in many ways, such as socially, academically, and for a future career. The program helped me through tough times academically and socially and was always a solid support system for me to be able to succeed despite the challenges I faced.
